Copyright Update

You may have noticed the centre box area on the THT site called Copyright Information. Copyright infringement is a much discussed and debated topic and here at THT we are striving to comply with what we learn as best we can. Our current list of itmes we will not use to create tourney or league pages is Disney, Warner Brothers, Tatty Bears, Peanuts (Charles Shultz items), Simpsons, Nintendo, Betty Boop and Maxine.

There are many others besides these ones, even including your favorite racing teams, football teams, baseball teams etc. It is not allowed to use images of drivers, cars, team logos etc. Its disappointing, but we do not wish to take the chance of being found out and having action taken against us.

At THT we put a lot of time and finances into keeping this site going. We are doing our best to protect it and you from falling into a mistake that could harm both of us unwittingly. Please keep in mind when requesting, that anything trademarked or copyrighted cannot be used without permission from the owner of the copyright or trademark. Pepsi, Coke and M&M's are other good examples of things that cannot be used.

On the flip side, our volunteer designers, at their own personal expense, have a very large collection of pay to use art that they freely use to design for you.

As you browse our gallery, if you see anything you are certain should not be used because of copyrights or trademarks, please use the Contact Us link and let us know! We're not perfect, but we are strivingto keep us all safe from legal action.

TD Tip

To help your league with Room Listings please make sure you fill in all the new default information now found when creating a tourney. Game - there is a drop down menu to choose the game you are going to play. Game Room Name - this is very important to your league that you fill that in with the name of the room.

Game Format - This field is where you can include other information about the tournament. If the tournament is going to be a “Battle of the Sexes” or some other kind of specialty tournament, you can include that here. You can also use this field to list what kind of gimmick or rule variation that you’ll be using for the tournament. If you leave this field blank, it will automatically display as “Standard” on the calendar and tournament page.
